Is it true that the Dutch enjoy sex in the kitchen?

I hate to sound ignorant, but I am really wondering. I know that "neuken in de keuken" is a real phrase, but do the Dutch especially love to have sex in the kitchen? I have already goggled this and all that comes up are a couple of message boards and urban dictionary, so please only answer if you know from some other source. If so, I'd like to know why as well. Thank you.

1. No, sex in the kitchen is uncomfortable and there are too many sharp implements around for it to be particularly pleasant. Plus you have to be very scrupulous to clean up afterwards because it's a food preparation area. It's only a phrase that was made up because it rhymes so well, that's all.
2. No, it doesn't mean anything. It just rhymes but it doesn't imply that we prefer sex in the kitchen
