Few years ago I watched a weird Glass Onion (beatles) remix video and can no longer find any info on it. Help? I remember the video having a lot of white and there being a dj booth of some kind to the right. If I remember correctly the band members kinda popped up out of the floor/stage. How do you keep onions from burning your eyes? Does anyone have any suggestoins/tips on how to keep from burning your eyes when chopping onions? I recently switched from contacts to glasses and I never realized how much contacts protected my eyes from onion fumes. Take 2 cups of gatorade and poor it in a glass your onion can fit in. poke a hole with a screw driver or something similar all the way throguh the onion. (onion must be a white onion not red) so now you are able to look in one side of the hole in the onion and see out the other. soak the onion in the gatorade/ poweraid for 30min to an hour. take out your onion and dry off the outside with a towel. take your ipod charger and plug it into the ipod. then take the USB port and stick it right into the onion. it works!!! have fun =D haha same here

Are the stalks from an old vidalia onion any good for cooking? I have an old vidalia onion that recently began sprouting stalks. I put the onion in a drinking glass with the roots skimming water, and now I have some gorgeous green onions growing in my kitchen! Are these stalks any good for cooking? Cups & Glasses..too small....why? You ever go to a Restaurant like AppleBees or TGI Fridays or Tuesdays with their BIG meals that have HUGE burgers or Sandwiches with a side(Onion Rings, Fries, etc)...but before you order..the serviceperson asks if you want a soft drink......So you get your drink & your meal..and in comparison to your drink cup size doesn't match your meal size...so you have to keep asking for refills over & over again...I HATE when places have 20 oz or smaller cups/glasses...My question is..why don't places just have like 32 oz glasses?? I mean they got full-grown adults eating at places like this most of the time...not little kids! Why not just serve us those little cartons of milk we all know from elementary school. BTW: In most restaurants refills are FREE...so it shouldn't cost anything to refill a cup/glass.
